The ‘Wee Blue Blossom’ Event.
Saturday 25th July at Mallon Farm, County Tyrone.
Come for a farm visit which will include a visit to the flax field. Over the course of two hours we will discuss growing and processing flax as part of a regenerative farming system. You will see the flax field, have a guided farm walk and a tour of the scutching mill. There will be an opportunity to have some free time in the field to take photos.
Tea and coffee and light refreshments are included in the price (please let us know of any allergies).
We are a working farm first and foremost, so please don’t expect a typical visitor attraction.
There will be mud and insects and farm machinery. Sun cream, wellies and waterproof clothing are advised to cover all possible weather conditions! Please note that the ground can be rough and there is a short but steep hill up to the mill and some steps to the bathroom. The flax field is a short walk from the yard over uneven and potentially muddy ground. Please contact us if you would like to discuss accessibility.
We have our own cats and dogs so unfortunately can’t accommodate visiting pets. This is mainly an outdoor event so could be subject to change due to weather conditions.
