Rough tow flax fibre suitable for a wide range of uses, may need some further processing depending on your end use.

This flax fibre has been sustainably grown on Mallon Farm, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland.  The crop supports biodiversity on the farm.

It has been harvested by hand and water retted using harvested rain water.  Water is reused as fertiliser restoring nutrients back into the soil.

After drying the flax has been broken and scutched in a 1940’s Mackie’s Scutching Turbine.
